It sounds fine playing that one tune but so what? Is there any way you can try it yourself and see if it has any wolf notes? Even if you could get a recording of a three octave scale that would tell you more than this recording.
it is definetly an europian violin. I've never played anything other than European violins and there are good ones and not so good ones. |

I am a cellist rather than violinist, but echo the advice to avoid buying without trying from the internet. You might also get interesting replies in the strings sub-forum.
