A question for anyone who has Flute Favourites, vol 1:-

Is the first note of bar 6 a misprint? My teacher thinks it should be a G, not an E, and I agree. Please can anyone confirm?

And a secondary question:

I love this book! But since this is volume 1, it follows that there must be a volume 2. Is it as good as the first book? And is the level the same, or is it more advanced?

Thanks!

Which number Humoresque is it? If no. 7, the piano original is in Gb and starts with Gb. The arrangement in Repertoire Explorer is in D and starts on D. My brilliant deduction, it should start on the tonic of whatever key it's in ... If that's the one!

Hi - yes, it's no 7, although my version is in G major. I've listened to some clips on youtube, and they all seem to take bar 6 as beginning on the tonic too, so I think it must be a misprint.

Thanks for your reply. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
