We need to rethink... I'm afraid we've needed a rethink for quite a while ..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) |

Same old story for the UK...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
I quite liked the Denmark entry, but it only came fourth bottom, which is a surprise. On the other hand, wasn't very keen on the Albanian one (even though it had a piano in it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)), yet it came fifth. Yes, she's got a really good voice, but the song felt a bit like someone strangling a cat. Liked Malta, but they didn't do very well either... Not surprised that Jedward didn't do any better than last year.... Thank goodness the Russian grannies didn't win...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Car Expert |

So does this mean that other countries genuinely didn't like Hump's song at all, or that England has no friends in Europe? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Despite the political voting in places, it's the former. We need to rethink... Yep! We need to stop taking this competition seriously, play the Europeans at their own game, and enter some naff song next time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Preferably with a gimmick. As for Englebert, I was sceptical when I heard he was representing UK, but I liked his song. I don't have a TV and was out for most of the evening anyway. But I turned on the radio just in time to hear the reminder of all the songs. Without being biased, Englebert's was the only song that stood out from the others in any way. Just a pity he was on first. |
