Hey

Does anyone know where I can get one pref a nice hard case (not fabric) in a variety of colours?

I hate my current case with a religious passion (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Oh yeah I want one of those in the shape of a violin (not the oblong cases)

Ta (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Hi i got one of those german GEWA cases, it is a hard case, which they do the insides with different colours, and is shaped to the violin, not oblong or just on a slope ( hope that makes sense). It is black material on the outside ---- but not loose and there are no loose pockets. Someone got mine for me, but if you "google" it you will be able to find some to look at. I really like mine! Best of luck.

Big fan of the Hima cases too, but they are a rounded oblong not violin shaped. Nice and light though.

that's right, the OP was looking for a 'violin shaped one', Hima is totally the opposite (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Haha tbh I wouldnt mind a dark pink one but I dont want to have to carry any extra weight or space you know

The GEWA cases are great but they only come in black. Havent manufacturers realised yet that there are people who arent necessarily black obsessed.....

I saw a girl with a lovely blue one months ago. I should have chased her down and asked her where she got it from but tbh it was late at night and I didnt want to give her a heart attack (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Oh go on, buy it, you HAVE to! You'll be sooooo upset if someone else buys it first!
My daughter has the dark red one, it's gorgeous!!

I justified the expense to her non-musical father by saying it would last forever as it's carbon fibre, and pointing out it was half the price of the equivalent BAM case which we would have to buy at some point in the future if he didn't buy the HIMA now as HIMA cases were hard to get hold of and the music shops weren't importing any more (most of that true!).

I guessed it was the nearest violin shop to you, and it's where I got my Hima from.

Have you thought of selling the Mustafia to raise some money for the Hima? I ask because my violin teacher mentioned one of his pupils had been after one.
