Sunil, I'm not sure it's wise to post clips of your daughter if she's going to music school. In a few years time you'll realise why. I'd keep your YouTube site purely private for your family and friends as well as the website. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I understand the delight and thrill of seeing your daughter perform but I have to tentatively agree with FOW here. Both my daughters would absolutely kill me if I put any of their performances up online, especially the early performances. They too have performed at The Albert Hall, South Bank and many prestigous venues and are good very good, but no way would they want their stumbling early attempts online for all to view. I put my daughters show performance up when she was at Berklee in Boston and she went ballastic and made me take it down saying it was her choice not mine, which made me realise that no matter how delighted i was with her gig, it was something of hers not mine. However you can PM members who you feel would offer sensible valuable critiques, other wise actually all you will get is people saying how brilliant she is rather than a proper critique. Your daughter still has a very very very long way to go, these are very early days, some things should be private. If your daughter has a public show you can certainly put the dates up for people to see and attend if they so wish.

She already has gone past the tough criticism, rejections and missed opportunity in signing artist development programme with one of the major record label. All the rejections made her stronger and ready to address bigger issues. Also some of the videos has attracted extreme criticism but she understand that's all part of the cut-throat music business.

One of the clip posted here, has been featured in carnigie hall website for few days which wouldn't have happen without posting in youtube. Also her channel may get a youtube partnership anytime soon, where google themselves prioritise and display the videos accordingly. These all happens only because of the number of views, subscribers, likes and comments, In my honest opinion.

Also I noticed, a lot of Julliard pre-college / junior-college recitals are professionally recorded and posted in youtube, with their pages linked to Facebook page etc as part of Social media campaign.

I've not mentioned anything about her age on youtube purposefully, so It should attract tough criticism if the performances are that bad.

I, 100% agree with what you said she has very very very long way to go, even not sure what she can benefit or even any level of success in the extremely competitive field where she is nothing compared to child prodigies - she knows that as well - but she has a very positive outlook and working hard to achieve what she wanted. And I believe it is my primary responsibility is to support her, within my capacity.
