Didn't make me happy at the time (arguing doesn't), but the result today is good, I've refreed one of the possible Teddington dates that I momentarily lost, and it's looking more hopeful for Stalybridge (another date I was about to lose)...

It's nice to have a teachery voice to call on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Woke up feeling lonely, but then went and had a chat with my flatmates, and that made me happy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I got an accompanist for my flute exam. It was already yesterday, but I still could dance around my apartment. I am just so glad. And now, I am starting to get really nervous. That's coming up sooooo fast!

And it was the first day this week with actually some spare time between 7 a.m. and midnight just for me.

Being back on line after three weeks without internet and the new modem was less expensive than I expected.
Only one of our two cars has broken down (they usually conspire to need the garage on the same day)
My compagnon isn't as ill as we had feared.
I am on holiday all next week.
We are going to the coast for the day tomorrow!
Wow! Am I happy!!

Having time to go with Hubby to choose a new 3-piece suite - our old one is in the most dreadful condition and really not fit to be seen (14 or 15 years of family life have killed it off!), so it's wonderful to have a new one on order. We may even take delivery before Christmas! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Coming across a couple of bargains at an antiques fair - I got a set of 10 classical CDs for £5 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif) and then I got a *huge* book (1100+ pages, weighs half-a-stone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)) called the World of Music, also for a bargain price - it's got covers of Norwegian wood and a leather spine, and it will probably take me years to read it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
