I shudder to think! More than the price of the hat, probably! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Congratulations!New kittens are enormous fun and great time wasters. Do enjoy his kittenhood and I'm sure he will grow into a beautiful cat.

I am a bit late because what made me happy happened last Friday but I have been busy.

Six year old piano pupil - heaved her music bag onto the chair beside the piano and said with a great sigh. "School exploded me today!"
"Oh dear", I replied" so do you think piano will explode you as well?"

""Oh no " she said brightly "I've already learnt my piece for the concert!"

I've been feeling crabby all weekend about my not-brilliant-but-just-a-pass marks for my course.

So today I dragged three of the fittest of my dogs out in the rain and marched up a hill... really steep, really long, really hard work.

At the top the rain stopped, the sun came out and the view was incredible.. in fact it was breathtaking in every direction. All my cobwebs blew away and I had some interesting ideas for new work. Now the week looks interesting, not scary (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (although I still have a 'firing squad' tutorial on Thursday (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) )

I wish I'd taken a sketch book or camera though because the whole walk was fascinating and inspirational and I had nothing to capture it with apart from imagination (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) !

Me too! We've had the most amazing, sunny weather today despite the forecast. It was great just driving through the countryside marvelling at the views, and then walking along the banks of the River Test looking at the brown trout in the river and all the beautiful wild flowers. I can't believe how many more flowers are out now compared with three weeks ago on the first May Bank Holiday!

Gosh. I've had an odd couple of days with lots going wrong, but it was nice to go for a walk to check the post, and randomly meet several friends for a chat, and nice to be able to have a bit of a whinge at one of them and make us both laugh with stories of my dilemmas. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It was nice to drive back to uni with my dad, chatting about his family history, and then politics. I don't often have in depth conversations with him since uni! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
