Referring to the BBC iplayer to see how long the first of this year's Reith Lectures will be available to listen to, the date given is:
12.00am Thursday 1st January 2099! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) |

Well done. No matter what you decide that's a brilliant accomplishment. Good luck with your decision making! Great news, Devil_Fiddler! It may be a hard decision, but it's nice to have to make a decision rather than having no option. Make sure you think through the pros and cons very carefully, and don't be afraid to ask the advice of those you trust. Then imagine yourself at conservatoire - what it would be like, whether you would regret not going to uni, etc. Then imagine yourself at a university. I think your heart will tell you what feels right. Best of luck with your decision! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) You're right, it's not really a decision I mind making; I think I'd be really happy at both (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I think I'll probably choose Birmingham, but I don't need to make a decision just yet, so I've got time to think about it and weigh it up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I can't listen to this year's Reith Lectures and solve today's Guardian cryptic crossword simultaneously! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

You finish the weekly wash and there's always a sock lying at the bottom of the drum.
You finish the washing-up and there's always a spoon languishing at the bottom of the washing-up bowl. How many pencils are out there, having fallen irretrievably into the workings of a piano? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) |

I know quite a few Hampshire county musicians off to Birmingham as well. I'm sure you'll make the decision, and that you'll be happy with whatever you choose (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Last year my other half went with me to visit family in Asia. After he left, my mum said she'd found one of his socks. This year when I went back to visit (without him), she still had the sock, so I was able to reunite the sock with its twin. I suppose it goes some way towards redressing the balance of all the other missing socks.. I actually keep a separate basket for odd socks. Of course, that just means I now have ten odd socks. |
