As today is exactly four weeks since Madeleine McCann went missing, I think we should show our support, or pay our respects or something. So I made this thread where we can all post to show our support.

This website is dedicated to finding her, please have a look:

The website is telling me "Service Unavailable."

Really hope that they find her soon!

Why do we have so many threads about Madeleine McCann? She is just a girl who went missing, no more special than any other missing children. I agree that it is sad but we don't need a new thread about it every remotely important anniversary. We could have another thread at five weeks. Maybe another one in between at 4 weeks and four days in case we cvan't wait that long.

Agreed... Apparently 15 other children went missing the same week as Madeleine, and how much have we heard about them? It's wonderful that her parents are trying so hard and doing so much to raise awareness. But it's hard to believe that they would have received the same attention from the press if Madeleine were less pretty or they were less rich... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I must confess, I'm rather inclined to agree, whilst respecting the efforts many are making for Madeleine and the views of others who see things differently. Heaven only knows what all this press about one girl must be doing to the countless numbers of parents worldwide who are also looking for their lost children. I fear we may be reaching overload on this one and, if the McCann family are not careful, people will switch off simply because they have been emotionally rung out by it all.

The congregation of the church I attend prays regularly (together and alone) for the family and the little girl herself. I feel that's the best I can do for now.

Well, I think it's terrible. I can't imagine what the poor parents are going through. I really hope the poor girl is found soon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
