Is the order going to be online beforehand, have you decided? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Pretty much the same answer as before... skylark - are you publishing a running order in advance, or will it be a surprise on the day? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) If possible I'd like to post it in advance but it depends on whether I can get it to St George in good time for him to do the necessary. If we do post it, it won't be until the last week anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ..... except at the moment there's a bit of rearranging going on as to who is taking part in one or two of the ensembles as somebody has had to drop out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

OK. I should be reasonably practised with my small ensemble pieces by next Saturday (next Saturday (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)), so hopefully I won't be overloaded...

Just a quick line to say have a great day everyone.
Just as well Great Aunt May isn't going either, I think she's after a man (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) Hope you all really enjoy yourselves. I shall be in the sunshine and then later flying back to Blighty. Beverley. |

Great May might have been able to keep Add and Lidd in some sort of order! Sorry that you won't be with us.

Can someone reply to poor Saxfan, please? I don't know the answer, otherwise I would! Sorry ChrisH, I'd made use of the "Ignore user" facility so I couldn't reply until I saw your post. Please don't *anyone* turn up on the day expecting to be admitted - as I said to somebody a few weeks ago who asked me if they could do that, the answer is no - unless you've applied and received an acknowledgement which you need to bring to the college with you, you won't be admitted and I wouldn't like anyone to make a wasted journey. Other organisers may have different arrangements, but that is the arrangement for Leeds. The deadline for applications passed a long time ago. |

Carl has asked me to let everybody know that he's now got his train ticket so he's still definitely coming to Leeds (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hurrah.gif)

hi Amber, hope you are reasonably well, cos I know you haven't been. Are you going to be singing in spite of everything? I am sorry I shan't be able to hear you -- well you know why (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) take care, Amber. Carl has asked me to let everybody know that he's now got his train ticket so he's still definitely coming to Leeds (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hurrah.gif) me too? forgive my asking, does anyone know if KJ is going? |

It is a matter of security rather than exclusion. As an organiser I had to have a full list of names and numbers of anyone attending before the day. I had several youngsters there in my charge and lots of very valuable instruments lying around and we had to know that all would be safe and well. The doors were kept locked apart from one in the main building and that room was never left without at least two bodyguards. This is a public forum and it would be a simple matter for someone to adopt the identity of one of the thousands of members who have registered but not posted, and to come along with other purposes in mind than music. That is why we have closing dates and application forms. I would imagine that forumites would be most welcome if they were to ask for a pass beforehand.
