Yorkshire Late Starters Strings are offering a follow-up morning to last year's very successful event for beginner string players. This will be a morning for players who are relatively new to their instrument but would like the opportunity to play with an orchestral group.

There will be a small group session with an experienced tutor and an orchestral session after the coffee break. If you, or anyone you know, is interested, please visit the YLSS website and follow the link to Beginners Day. Bookings can be made either through the website email contact or to yorks.lss@virgin.net

Do keep me up to speed on anything you're doing with the YLSS celloholic, by the time we're well into 2010, I all being well will have been celloing for a bit, and will be interested in one day or residential courses. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Excellent! I'll make sure you get any info.
Interested in the near-beginners event or are you beyond that?

I've only had a try of a cello so far, which I thoroughly enjoyed : the intention is to start 'properly' in the new school year (September-ish).

May well be up for a 2010 near-beginners event celloholic (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
