I was beginning to get paranoid, would it be a big envelope or a small one? Had to wait all blooming week until I finally found out - talk about nail biting while everyone else got their results!
It's official the result is in! I passed with 63% so a good decent score. Really chuffed as it was a really tough exam and I'm glad it came out the right way. Clarinet performance down, now what? I wonder if i dare pick up the sax again!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif) |

I got my diploma result today too - it seems to be a good day for them. Well done on LRSM - sounds really hard to achieve. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Well done! A great achievement. Got my results for dipABRSM today and passed on clarinet. DipABRSM was stressful enough, let alone contemplating LRSM!
I don't know if you were the same but I think I must have relived my exam dozens of times over the last few weeks. I was particularly worried about my sight read as I cant even remember doing it! Crazy how nerves can affect you!! Well Done again! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif) |

congrats waw1969 good result for you too then! I know what you mean, i started doubting my ability and getting really paranoid the last few weeks.
I choose a really testing programme Milhaud, Poulenc and Weber no2 so the quick study threw me completely. It was so easy i couldnt work out whether i'd aced it or fluffed it = glad it was an ace! I just have to release my inner soloist now to please the examiners - comments were a "little safe" needs more bravura - any ideas how to do that? |

I am no expert but guess by really believing in yourself and showing off your obvious talent. I guess also looking really confident on stage counts for a lot as well - that's easier said than done when you're shaking with nerves! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif) Congratulations (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I definitely relived my exam, adding all the things that I thought had gone terribly. (even though I only had to wait 2 weeks!) |
