Have fun!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (on reflection I think York is perhaps a bit too far for me!!)
I look foreward to reading your comments after you've tried some of the new music. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clarinet.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clarinet.gif) |

I'm hoping it comes today but it'll probably be tomorrow before I get any real chance to look at it.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clarinet.gif) p.s. There's a York Playday in February (check Forums Calendar) Great fun last year if you decide York's not too far. (See I'm canvassing already Barry (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ) |

I don't want them to clash. Once I know when that is, I'll talk to phantasmagoriana about York Playday 2010 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I don't think it'd do any harm to take some of it along to your lesson. I think you've picked a good selection of music that'll keep you occupied for quite a while. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I think you've picked a good selection of music that'll keep you occupied for quite a while. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I decided on a compromise - arriving with a box of new music would probably have seemed a little pushy maybe so I took along the new copy of the sonatina I was working along with him anyway and showed him the list of the other stuff I'd got. Thought that way he'd know what I had but could then decide whether or when to use it with me and in the meantime I can start on some of it at home. Already looked through the Victorian Kitchen Garden Suite - made a reasonable sight read of it and with some work I think it could be really good for performance. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) That was a good plan Dawn (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Victorian Kitchen Garden is excellent : I often use bits of it in recitals (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

And how do you play it Barry? Do you play "Summer" at the tempo he has marked?
I wont expect replies from DawnF, she's busy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clarinet.gif) |

Yes and me. If I play it at the marked speed it sounds as if I'm trivialising it.
I think the whole suite is gorgeous; I'm sure DawnF will love it too. |
