Cardiff helped make father-in-law a happy man earlier in the week...

... now if I visit them I'll have to plan routes to their City Centre via Ketts Hill as Carrow Road will be decidedly off-limits.

That Canary has taken off!

My in laws were Norwich fans also. But I wished Leeds had at least made it to the playoffs, - a great result to beat QPR in the last match !

Now can Tranmere make it 5 wins in their last 7 games................

Well Tranmere blew it , losing 0-2 to bottom club Swindon, so much for any hope of passing Charlton . Strange that after 4 wins in last 6 .

Whitley Bay it was...

Quite a good weekend for NE football - good wins for the three main clubs, a draw for Hartlepool, the FA Trophy for Darlo (first time that's ever headed up this way) and now the FA Vase for Whitley Bay.

Shame we don't have a team left in the FA Cup - we could have had a clean sweep. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Whitley Bay's third Vase in a row...

Reading's play-off semi-final against Cardiff could go either way. I am even more hopeful that Reading go up after Norwich's promotion. I saw that bloke again at work today and he said to me, "Gotcha!"...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Leyton Orient thrashed Plymouth 4-1 yesterday and finished seventh, only a point off the play-offs. Brilliant season for them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Cardiff seem to have fizzled out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Does that man still think you're a Norwich fan? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Looks like ManU have all but won the Prem. Bottom of that division is still wide open...

Any of the Bs and Ws in the bottom six could still go down, it's so hard to predict. West Ham have to beat Wigan on Sunday to have any hope of staying up. I think Birmingham have the best chance of staying out of trouble - a victory at home to Fulham next weekend should secure their Premier League status. Wolves v Blackburn on the final day will be a massive game...
