Oliver is a good show, lots of good songs and good dialogue. Have a blast of a time. Feel lucky you've not got to dress up as an animal its extremely hot work under stage lights. The time I had to do it if it wasn't for the cups of dioralyte in the wings I would have lost half a stone in the process and been in constant danger of fainting.

Enjoy apres-rehearsal, and post-performance drinks. Its a great way to meet people and socialise. Sure it takes up time, and during perfomance week it can be pretty exhausting. (Expect the tech. run to over-run something always goes wrong!) But overall it is worth it and terrific fun.

I'm in!!! Haha! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I have a place in the chorus, should I wish to accept. It's definitely Oliver, and they're using the same songs by Lionel Bart. The MD may consider me for a group of eight to sing "Who will buy?".

If I can go to 80% of the rehearsals, I should be OK, apparently. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif)

"Early to mid January" according to the MD. Seems ages away. Rehearsals start mid-October. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I would love to say The London Palladium, but I would be lying!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It's in a local theatre near me, here in Kent. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif)

I just had a thought. The set designer and his wife with whom I worked on Pepper are members of an Am. Dram society in Kent, but I can't for the life of me remember which one it was. Could you possibly PM the name of the company DaisyChain? It's just my curiousity getting the better of me as usual, but it would be interesting to know if it's them or not! Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
