This is looking distinctly possible now, won't be able to get there until after 1pm though looking at train times...

I doubt that'd be a problem : we had afternoon arrivals at Egham on Saturday (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/yay.gif) for louise1712 at Glasgow! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I have just printed off the entry form. Will be posting it soon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yay.gif)

It will be my first event and I am quite excited. I saw the picture of the venue on the link and I am scared (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) .... it's a big-proper venue!! I was thinking something small scale.

Thank you very much musikalbadger!

Balu don't worry - we use a little victorian bar within the main venue which only seats 50 - its not a big massive place, and we are very very relaxed!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Will be great to meet you, and I really hope you enjoy your first forum event!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Louise arriving in the afternoon is fine - Katyjay and Andante_in_c didn't arrive until lunchtime last year, it will be good to see you again! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I had that scare last year about the venue! But the bar was quite informal, and there was a very relaxed atmosphere about the whole event. Enjoy! Wish I could be there, but ..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Thanks!

I am planning to play Crussell's Clarinet Concerto #1, 2nd Movt. I have played few times with my teacher.

I also had a look at 2nd Movt from his Concerto 2 and 3....I will try them after exams.

What's your plan?

I'll have to have a listen to the Crusell, not heard that one. My plan...., well, I have a couple of ideas for pieces and will talk to teacher before deciding. Have got Cinema Paradiso and the third of Mozart's Church Sonatas on the list at the moment.

Form written out, and will be sent out next week.

Will have to be a clarinet piece, for practicality - am possibly going to try one of the movements of the Philip Sparke Clarinet Concerto.

Are you planning ensembles again, muzikalbadger? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Form in the post this morning (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

If there's a string ensemble, is there any chance of my borrowing a violin again, pretty please?

Yeah I am Barry, will send you a pm about it nearer the time once we have a clearer idea of instruments (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
What's the accompaniment like for the concerto? If its fiendish can you email me a wee copy of it to have a look at?

We have 2 forms in already! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
