Just had a look at the Trinity Rock and Pop and am slightly disappointed to discover how few exam centres they have for it - only six in the whole country. I wonder why they can't do them at the usual venues. From what I gathered at the workshop, it's very much a work in progress. The higher grades have yet to be finalised and examiners have to be trained to do the exams as it's very different from traditional/classical music. Perhaps the number of centres will increase. |

I hope so too!!
The best bit about it is that if you go on their website you can see a preview (although it's the full piece) of every piece! I'm glad they've realised that the more they give away for free, the more likely people are to spend the money on the books. Especially since they aren't in any local shops yet (not that I ever get my stuff locally anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) ) |

I emailed them about this as our nearest Centre is about 15 miles away. Apparently more centres will be added to the Summer exam session although no details online about this yet. |
