Coming 33rd out of 3000 in the Race for Life today (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . Bit hot for running though really.

You do realise I'll be picking your brains then if I get into the London Marathon 2012, Appassionata! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Very well done! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hurrah.gif)

Thanks.
I'm happy to help if needed for your marathon training, though I'm sure you'll be fine. I've got a place for next year, so my training has already started!

Singing in the Kodaly Choir this afternoon - different conductor (you know him, maggie!) who did a lovely job.

Oh - and sleeping until 11am...

A pretty good concert (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yay.gif) which actually went ahead despite a heavy shower (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rain.gif) immediately prior to it and some drops of rain falling during it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rain.gif)

Barry, I really hope that 2012 is your year - I keep promising to sponsor you if you get accepted, and so far I haven't needed to hand over a penny. Surely you must be lucky soon? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

An email from a company I have ordered some music from...this particular set of pieces can be bought as:
Four volumes - totalling ?145-ish
Six voumes, different publisher - totally ?95-ish

And then I found somewhere selling a facsimile version for ?33.70. They had one copy from a special print run left. Naturally I ordered it up straight away. And the email I got today:

QUOTE
We are dealing with your order, but the person who knows where this piece of music is stored, is away until Wednesday evening. As soon as we have located the piece we will get it off to you and notify you by email.

Which has just made me laugh so much (there's no urgency for the music in question, and I can just imagine someone searching for this one book that's been stored in a 'safe place'...)

Another pupil had done a lot of practice and is now out of the danger zone for her exam on Thursday. Only 1 left in the danger zone now- I had about 4 this session. Never had that many not make the expected progress between lessons!

Also it's my daughter's 17th birthday. That makes me happy too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
