Let's do a bit of maths. . .

How long has the lottery-thing been running? Is it about 10 years now? Lets work on that as a round number.

So, 10 years with 52 weeks each. Assume one ticket at £1 each week.

By never having bought a ticket, I seem to have 'won' £520. Hmm, now what shall I spend that on???

I wonder how many people have bought one ticket per week, and never won anything?

I know my parents have lost more than they've gained! I don't think I'll be buying one every week, I have better things to spend my money on! But perhaps once in a while (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Don't forget that now there are 2 draws a week. I also win a pound every week (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) - the money I don't spend on the lottery goes on a direct debit into my savings account!

Bet that you could, given the odds.

If you won the lottery, I'd have to buy a gas mask for your cars' fumes, and a wind turbine and some solar panels to make up for the extra CO2 emissions.
*contemplates her bike, and decides that housecalls on that are definitely a step too far*

If you think about it if Nicia-Clarinet-Flute had 8 cars it would actually reduce CO2 emissions.
NCF can only drive one car at once so he would always have 7 cars idle.
If he didn't own the other 7 cars they would be being driven around also generating CO2.

I think it's actually cows who are the biggest producers of CO2 emissions because of farting. They discovered that kangaroos dont fart becasue of a certain chemical in their blood. And are trying to work out which one so they can genetically modify the cow to have this chemical to stop them farting and producing CO2.

There are far more cows than people, and so, the cows are the problem.
