Can't play piano or flute because little Jen is asleep and I'll wake her.

But not if you play a lullaby (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Came across the musical term sciolto for the second time in 24 hrs, never having met it previously! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Once in a piece of piano music by Manuel Ponce and then fuga sciolto in my reading-up on Bach's 48. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I am bored. Basil and Kate are watching the golf and will be until it's over. For me it's like watching paint dry.

I like watching sport generally, but I'm with you on boring sleep inducing golf... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Think I will go to bed and read my book.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) My random thought was that it really smells of paint in here! Not that I'm watching it dry - we just happened to paint our sitting room yesterday... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Do you think they paint the 'greens'?

Imagine getting most of it done then running out of paint and finding that they've run out of that particular shade! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Might add some gloss to the event or rsult in a matt finish! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It's weird that we both spontaneously decided to cut our hair on the same day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) I forgot that mine would curl more now that it's shorter, it's gone a bit shorter than I intended. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) It has dried really quickly though, which is nice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Hmmm I'm beginning to look like Beethoven......might make me attractive to DC though.
But it will have to wait until Friday now for a cut.
