London SRP's February meeting (18th Feb) will be an afternoon of music for recorders, voices and viols conducted by Michael Brown. His programme will include 'Versa est in Luctum' and 'Libera Me' by Victoria, and 'Vox in Rama' by de Wert.

The venue is the usual meeting place for London SRP - Napier Hall, Hide Place, off Vincent Square, London SW1 - 5 minutes' walk from Pimlico tube and 10 minutes from Victoria. Time: 2.30 till 5.30pm.

I know that some of you will be at the Adult Learners' event, but others who aren't going to that might be interested in coming along to this. The more, the merrier! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Ooo - I could do voice and viol (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Slightly tricky bit is what will it cost to get to London? Just had a cheap there is a super-duper-you-wouldn't-believe-it-book now-or-die price of GBP36.50 return..... STD weekend saver is GBP67.50

I'll have a think - my brother is away for his 50th that weekend and I may have to check on the nephews (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) . Can't imagine a 16 and 17 year-old getting up to much (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

It was a fantastic afternoon - Michael worked us hard, but we all had a great time, and it was lovely having the singers and viol players there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
