Hello everybody,

I'm sorry I haven't been here for what feels like ages. Things are still extremely difficult chez Amber, however I will be taking some days off now for Christmas which feels good. I have been working so very hard, and January will be even busier as my contract with a psychiatric unit in North Kent begins. Issues with health, financial concerns and other problems in the family continue to reign unfortunately, and I am feeling really rather drained by it all. Plus I have an exam deadline to work towards for my ongoing professional development, and I am so exhausted and lacking in confidence about it that I've got severe writer's block. It's like trying to wade through treacle and getting nowhere.

I haven't forgotten about the Forums though and I'm not turning my back on everyone. It is more a case of just working as much as I can to bring money in, then crashing in bed in order to have enough energy to keep going the next day.

I wanted to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and all the very best for 2008. I hope you have a happy and peaceful time, filled with fun things. I hope it won't be long before I can be back to being a regular participant on the Forums, and in the meantime send hugs and good wishes and loads of swedish gingerbread cookies!

Ambs

Hello Amber, good to hear from you here on the Forum, sorry to read that life has been a tad trying...My Grandmother had a wonderful slant on life, she would say that "Situations alter circumstances and we adjust accordingly" and do you know I think she was right...life throws us curves and we simply have to work our way through...frustrating though it all is somehow we get there...

Anyhoo have a nice Christmas, big smiles for a pretty lady...

regards
