well done you!

I had a good day teaching in a new school. 5 new pupils, 2 I'd started 2 weeks before half term. I thought the new ones would all be beginners but they weren't!

I appear to have a job for 6 months, starting on Monday. I'm a tad worried about what I'm going to do after the 6 months, but I'm very happy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Well, I've been working for them unpaid for longer than 6 months, so it's nice of them to offer me something (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Scaring my housemate so much she ran out into the street with only a bath robe on screaming. Convinced her there was a murderer in the house. Epically hilarious.

My happy - a great mess gig where I got all the important piccolo bits in the right places and in tune!! Previously I've been second flute and Ist flute has doubled pic.
AND a folky violin solo that come out great and got fantastic comments from both band and audience. Going to bed (yes, it's 2.30am here) a very happy bunny!!

A pupil just auditioned for a grant for a new clarinet and the grant givers really liked her, told her she should be thinking about going to a conservatoire and that she was getting the most out of her instrument and definitely needed a new one!

She has just had an hour's lesson with me- so her mouth is probably dead now!

Heard yesterday that she got the maximum award and lots of lovely comments! She will be very excited as she wants her new clari that has an extra G sharp/ Eb key. She doesn't like going the other way! It was well deserved!
