My daughter has started walking! I love this stage as they are so sweet when they first start doing tentative steps - not so looking forward to the running off in different directions yet. Luckily her brother is still fairly immobile!

I am free of the laundry detergent design project! In 10 days my group produced a 'tome' of 200 pages (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) . We had a nightmare getting it all printed today.

Got a couple of days breather and then the next group design course starts Monday. The department had to sneak in the days off: A few years back they kept having students hospitalised with exhaustion/nervous breakdowns/etc. Based on how ill I've been over the last couple of weeks, and how dead I feel at present, I can see why. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Only trouble is, I now need to figure out what to do with my days off. I've been so busy, I'd forgotten we had the rest of this week free - and therefore have nothing planned. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I have fitted the new internal disk in my iMac, and reloaded Mac OS X and my applications, and the whole system just flies (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . Now there is just the small matter of restoring or reconstructing whatever useful data I can scrabble together from various out-of-date backups.

on the other hand my P80 gets sicker by the minute (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Being in the IT industry like you I am wondering what you could call a weird issue!

Short story is I had to do packet captures to figure out that the problem was nothing like what it first seemed to be (suspected DNS weirdness that made no sense at all). Turned out to be a misbehaving proxy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

As for weird issues - seen more of them than I can count! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
