My email has suddenly just gone a bit mad. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I've had 16 in the past 5 minutes, having only had 7 all day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) (and yes 7 is very low - but we do get a lot fewer emails out of term-time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)) Your signature requires cat and flute. Here's both at the same time. (IMG:http://www.jayrewcraftshop.co.uk/catalog/images/CatandFlute.jpg) Aww. That's gorgeous, Bev. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) *wonders if she can get a version to stick above her computer* My signature requires a cat and an alto flute, though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) It;s a small cat, so the flute is larger than you think. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

And the cat has an unusually large face, making the flute look smaller than it actually is (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

The album entitled "Plays Metallica On Four Cellos" is not as bad as one might think-in fact, it's really rather good! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Never thought i would see the day i would see someone head banging while playing a cello. Although it does inspire me slightly to play the Cello but I have to resist Flute and Violin are enough..... For Now

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Very much so although its head to head for my favourite type of music with Classical right now. Picking up instruments has made me obsessed with Classical music :-) |

I couldn't reconcile the fact that one of our present GCE music students is a fan of thrash metal but has a penchant for playing Debussy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
I wrote him a short piano piece that employed elements of both, based on the notes of his name. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piano.gif) I still don't understand it though - onomatopoeic that it surely is, I necessarily had to look up the meaning of 'thrash'.
