just wondering how i can make a mock exam as realistic as possible if the person who is examining u is not a teacher but has grade 5 musical background (other words, my sister...) can play thye aural tests. it obviously wun be the same as the real, cuz the surrounding r more familiar. any tips to make it as real as possible??? piano, btw.

Get her to make notes (or pretend to) in between each thing you do.
Then you might get the feel of of how it is to wait to be asked to go on to the next piece. Those empty spaces can be a bit unnerving. |
