I have a portfolio due in Monday that just isn't HAPPENING for me >.< I know the areas I need to do for it .. just can't get motivated.
So, one area you guys could help me with is this; I need to devise a programme of material to cover with a pupil of Grade III standard throughout a year. The pieces the student will be playing in her exam are Vivaldi - Winter, from Amazing Solos for Flute, Bizet Seguidilla from Amazing Solos for Flute, and 100 Classical Studies Number 7 - any recommendations of pieces that tie in well for this? Note: Not asking anyone to "do" my project for me, just seeking out ideas from other flute teachers on here. Also, techniques you used for teaching these, or what not. Cheers guys |

hmmm... did something similar to this for my Ct course, very useful project. Should really do it for every pupil I suppose, if only I had the time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) .
Sorry, can't help, I'm a pianist. Best of luck (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) |
