The next Scottish Forum Event is to be held on Sunday the 13th of May 2012.

This will be at the Tron Theatre in Glasgow from 10am - 6pm.

This event is for over 18's only due to the venue.

OK, here goes...

The website for our second Scottish Forum Event is now LIVE!!!!

Scottish Forum Event Website

The closing date for entries is April the 13th, a month before the concert to give me plenty of time to arrange a programme, sort out ensembles, arrange accompanists, and for the accompanists to have time to practice too!!

All the info you should need is on the website, however if you have any questions at all, no matter how small please feel free to post them here, pm me or email me and I will get back to you ASAP.

There will be a meal afterwards that all are welcome to attend, that will be organised again by the wonderful Dizzyfingers after the excellent job she did last year (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Small afternote - the fee to take part has been put up to ?15 for the day for performers, to ensure we fully cover costs and can hopefully donate some money to charity. Audience members and observers are still ?5 and anyone wanting to only accompany can come for free!! All accompanists welcome!!

Me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I have a gig in London on 12th, helpfully (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) so the plan is to travel straight from there to the Travelodge in Gatwick for an overnight stay, and then to get the 0735 flight to Glasgow (arr 0940) on Sunday morning, which should get me there in plenty of time. And then to stay overnight on Sun/Mon, as I shall ask school very nicely for the day off... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Glad you're planning to come up again though Barry, it wouldn't be the same without you there!! (and it means I can ask LOTS of questions again......)

I don't think I'm able to make this one, sadly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I've already booked a place on the ABRSM Teaching Grade 6-8 course which is happening that day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Awww that's a shame a_in_c, although I hope you get a lot out of your course!! It's a long way to travel for you too anyway. It was fab hearing you play this year (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Matthew and I will probably be there, as long as my final exam dates etc don't clash round about then. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

once again clashes with the Scottish Recorder Orchestra....and as I now appear to be its secretary, I'm going to have to give it a miss again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif).

Oh no.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
Sadly its the only date free in May that works, so it can't be changed... That's such a shame. Will have to try harder to avoid the SRO next time!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Me !! Me !! Me !! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/woot.gif)

I just hope nothing gets in the way of it this time! I'm going to come down on Saturday and go home on Monday morning so TWO nights to have fun!!! I've emailed hubby to book the Monday off work (to dogsit and pick me up from the station) and I've put it in my own calendar already!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Now I REALLY would like to play that duet with Barry (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) , not to mention ALL the STUFF I want to do with Hannah... string ensemble.. duet with muzikalbadger, and maybe maybe a little bit of a Telemann sonata.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) Or is that being greedy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) They're all little short things. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

(bit scared too tho (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) )
