21, that's a pretty good turn out for a first event I would think (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yep, it's good going (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) A decent quota of locals, too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Hmm... I'm really not happy with the violin piece I put on my form. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Is it too late to change it?

I'm sure muzikalbadger will be along soon : but I should think it'd be OK - still a goodly amount of time to get an accompaniment sorted.

Of course if your piece doesn't need an accompaniment, you can say on the day 'I'm not playing x piece, I'm playing y piece'. I've done this before... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

If you are changing from the Lefevre, give me plenty of notice : it may be a change of instrument as well as piece for me (for those unaware, I'm intending to accompany Louise on 'cello). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks Louise! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It seems to be not that far from St. Enoch subway station. This is good, because Louise and I are staying in a hotel about 2 minutes walk from Kelvinbridge subway station... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Ooo, and posting on this thread has reminded me, going to send you a flute duet. Look in your email inbox in about 5 or 10 minutes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'm sure muzikalbadger will be along soon : but I should think it'd be OK - still a goodly amount of time to get an accompaniment sorted.

Matthew and I play everything together anyway, so it doesn't matter about an accompanist. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Then go ahead and change it to something you prefer!! You want to play something you really enjoy playing! I presumed Matthew was accompanying you anyway!! (makes my life easier too!!) It would be good to know what you do decide to play for organising the running order, but as Barry says, if accompaniment is not a problem you could decide to change your mind on the day too, im sure no one would mind in the slightest!
