I've been asked to sing the soprano solo from Mozart's Laudate Dominum at Howden Minster on 3rd September! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Am so delighted. There are so many amazing sopranos in the choir that I had no idea the DM was going to ask me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Can't wait! And in such a beautiful setting too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Brilliant!!!. Well done you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)

Reaching 700 words!

I wonder what you've been doing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Did you manage to sum Bach up in a sentence, or are you keeping that for the next time Leicester need a goal? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Well, I've deleted 400 words tonight - very sad it was too as I liked what I had put.

Bach's introductory sentence was actually a load of codswallop, so I decided that Bach didn't need an introduction and have just gone straight in about the flute sonatas.

Better to delete words now than end up over the wordcount Nikki! (I was on 6000/5000 this morning, but have now cut down to 5200/5000). Actually, I shall email you now, I think!

Getting my pupils' exam results yesterday. Last term's cohort of exam candidates were some of my loveliest and hardest working pupils and this time, they were rewarded for their efforts!

This morning I am sort of pleased to have found some bills I need to pay!

Passing DipABRSM! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(Sorry, I just found out two minutes ago and I'm a bit overexcited... I probably shouldn't be posting about this in every thread I come across (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif))
