Kids had a half day at school and we had fish'n'chips outdoors for lunch, yum - naughty but nice!

What's made me happy today?...

Painkillers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I fell off a gate yesterday and twisted my knee and jarred my back (which has damaged discs).

Now I feel all warm and fuzzzy and my sore joints feel hot and comfortable...

think I'll go for a snooze.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I have a non-practising 12 year old pupil... fairly beginnerish- Gr 1 standard. We've had zero practice this term.... until this week. I found a simple version of the titanic them tune. She practises.
I smile.
Today, I found her out a copy of Making the Grade Gr 1. We play the Theme from East enders, supercalifragilistic, Love me Tender.... we play other music from that book, (working on tongueing, slurring and breathing) and she leaves saying 'I'm definitely going to practise this week, I LOVE these pieces'. I smile (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) again.
