I tried to get the magazine but it wasn't in my local shop so thank you very much Cyrilla! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I don't remember ever seeing it in a shop, but I have seen it in our local music library. We get it by post on subscription and I usually read most of it including the advertisements! Some of the content is topical (listing of forthcoming première performances etc.) but a lot of it is of more general musical interest, and usually a bit of music-related humour. It's probably the mag that attracts most advertisements for conductors and players including ads for positions in the professional orchestras here and abroad, and for teachers.

I expect you could get a single issue from the publishers though I've never tried. You could send an email to <classical.music@rhinegold.co.uk> or <sales@rhinegold.co.uk>, perhaps explaining that you are a Forum user and were delighted to see such a good write-up. Here's the publisher's Web address:
http://www.rhinegold.co.uk/
They also publish other music-related magazines such as Music Teacher and Early Music Today and various reference books. Well worth a look.
