I had a pupil do a Trinity theory exam this morning. How long do the results usually take? It went well. Harder paper than most of the others but the layout is clear!

Not sure for TG - I can't see anything in the regulations. I assume papers are returned to London, distributed for marking, returned to London, then marksheets issued to local centres. Given that fewer people take TG theory exams, I wouldn't have thought it would take as long as AB...but I'm only making assumptions here!

i gave my trinity grade 7 theory exam today and it was much harder than the other papers though and right now all i'm wishing is for atleast 75+ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
The results are usually out by new year or somewhere around that time,

Usually they aim to have them back to you within 6 weeks but ours took about 8 weeks in the last May sitting! Good Luck with your results

A related question, how do Trinity theory exams differ from AB? I took grade 1 and 2 theory with Trinity, back in about 1976 and grade 5 with AB. My abiding memory of the Trinity ones was how close the spacing of the lines was for trying to write notes! Is grade 6 Trinity different to grade 6 AB?

Trinity very nicely have sample exam papers on their website here - which is good for comparing what one wants compared to when the other wants it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
