If your wireless router keeps dropping connections, try changing the channel it broadcasts on before assuming the router is dead. That is what the friendly person on the other end of the tech support hotline told me to do, and it worked a treat - he said that if you live in an area where there are a lot of routers "competing" for the same frequency, this can happen.

I'll tell my Dad that as our router/internet connection is just not behaving.

I just remembered one other thing he told me: you must also change the wireless network name because otherwise the computer will save settings under the old one, and never retry on the new channel.

Good luck!

Not really, you just knit through the back of the loops instead of the front on the knit stitches. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Seems like it's a knit and crochet community on the internet, maybe there's someone on there called Flossie who isn't you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
