I don't want to offend anyone by posting this link, but I think the right to pray is important... so here is a link to an article of support for the monks in Myanmar who were beaten for their peaceful protest involving sitting down and praying. It could be seen as spam, but I don't think it is... so here, and I hope I'm not upsetting anyone.

(By the way I'm an atheist, but I still support the right of people to pray.)

Oh! Sorry for the title, it's not Burma anymore, it's Myanmar now, I got it wrong... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

I think most people still know it as Burma. The news footage last night was pretty graphic.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Buddist Monks who were prepared to stand for liberty in an oppressed society.

Thanks for drawing this to my attention Lucy.

As someone who does pray, I am delighted to hear that you support the right of people to pray.

I would form an opinion but I know from experience that people tend to be offended when I form opiunions over matters like this.
