I've had a really awful week (I'm prepared to go as far as to say the worst week of my life) and I foolishly gave up chocolate for lent, and I'm not a fan of tea so I'll just take the sympathy and hope that life gets better.

I'm almost feelings guilty because I've had rather a nice day! And I don't like chocolate - which for some reason people find a bit strange.
But here's wishing all you sad, unhappy souls more sunshine tomorrow - especially Skylark - I hate to hear of a feathered friend who is the opposite of a wading bird having to cope with waterfalls. Hope your fluffy feathers aren't too bedraggled. Goldfinch |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) My day has ended better than it started, hope yours has got better too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I've had a really awful week (I'm prepared to go as far as to say the worst week of my life) and I foolishly gave up chocolate for lent, and I'm not a fan of tea so I'll just take the sympathy and hope that life gets better. Sorry you've had such a dreadful week - hope it gets better for you sooner rather than later (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) What beautiful pink flowers on your web site link - they certainly made me feel better and we'll save some chocolates for you for when Lent is over (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'm almost feelings guilty because I've had rather a nice day! Goldfinch I was having to *duck* the driplets and droplets this morning, but my nest is all warm and dry and cosy again now thank you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) If you don't like chocolate, can I have yours (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) And what little indulgence do you like, Goldie? QUOTE If you don't like chocolate, can I have yours (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) And what little indulgence do you like, Goldie? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Glad you're feeling better. Certainly you can have all my chocolate allowance. My indulgence? Nuts! I could live on nuts and since most of them are healthly I do but not salted ones so my indulgence is salted cashew nuts. A once in a while treat. Your plight reminded me of last Christmas morning. Jumped out of bed to find the boiler had packed in! No heating , no hot water - just a load of flashing lights screaming danger. We spent Christmas morning under the covers frantically trying to make sense of the boiler manual. Couldn't make head nor tale of it so in the end we asked our next door neighbour who mended it in minutes and wouldn't accept anything for his efforts. It was one of the best Christmas presents ever - a good neighbour. Ever cloud... |

To all those who've had a dreadful week, I'm crossing my fingers for you that next week will be better.
I'm so busy and stressed all the time, and am on some really strong medication that makes me really shattered and I need to sleep half the evening (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) |
