I am drinking nice tea, made by me. I wish the forum members who have complained about the quality of my tea in the past could see me just now and observe the wonderful warm beverage that I am contentedly sipping from my fabulous IKEA mug and saucer. I would love it if they asked, "Matthew, could we share in your fine tea?", so that I could say "NO!!!". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/muahaha.gif)

I must be one of the easiest people in the world to make tea for.

As long as it has some milk in it (quantity not wildly important), and no sugar, I'll drink and enjoy it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I congratulate you on making a satisfactory cup of tea. It's a skill I have never mastered. Largely 'cos I can't stand the stuff myself.

So rest assured that I will not be asking to share in this beverage, and do enjoy it.

Barry manages to drink anything that's put in front of him.

This contrasts with Misterjay, who makes his own tea in self-defence, and just about every other visitor to the house who will have any drink other than my tea....

As we live miles from each other , it's unlikely that this will happen Katyjay, but if I do pop in, I'll have to make my own cuppa (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Only drink tea. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

*is sceptical* I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, Matthew hasn't made me a cup of tea since November... he may well have improved. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

1) By putting sugar in it.
2) By putting too little/too much milk in it.
3) By making it with dishwater? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Well, in 25+ years of marriage, my OH has yet to make a really satisfactory cup of tea. He usually drowns the T bag in the pot, and doesn't wait long enough for it to brew. (He drinks only coffee you understand) Then I swear he puts half a cow in the cup before putting the weak T in afterwards.

Consequently, when he brings me my morning "T" in bed, it's usually coffee (we have this arrangement because he's a lark and I'm an owl!)

Which half? Sorry but I now have images in my head of a cow's rear end staring at me out of a large mug. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Damn my abstract imagination.

Why is there only one Monopolies Commission?

Peter Kay?

There isn't a Monopolies Commission, as it was replaced by the Competition Commission.
Mr Logic.
