Try Dolmetsch Online where you can follow free recorder lessons and listen to how it should sound - go to "free musical resources", then to "descant, treble and bass recorder lessons". There is a wealth of other free useful information on this site, including theory (which is excellently explained). There are also links to other sites if you're looking for a particular topic. There's plenty to interest all musicians, not just recorder players.
