Yuk whisky! Can't even bear the smell of that, you don't look like a whisky kind of guy?

Good for you going swimming, they reckon it is the best form of exercise you can do, I love swimming and my son does too.

I hate Whisky (actually that's a lie... I hate *cheap, nasty* whisky) but was coerced into drinking it anyway.. That'll be my rubber arm being twisted again. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/ill.gif) I quite like the warm sensation but too much does strange things to my head.

Swimming is great - it also means that if I take my niece along, I've got an excuse to go on the flumes! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Just a kid at heart eh Sol? lol

I quite like southern comfort, that gives you that nice warm feeling but without that awful smell. Whisky is also known to make you nasty. My dad used to drink whisky and always got nasty, my ex used to drink it and also got nasty (so I put a stop to that) current hubbie had a go and yet again got nasty! He got a bottle off his dad last Christmas, I said, your not drinking that!

I think both hubbie and I both wine drinkers rather than spirits.

So if we are going under the mistletoe you had better lay off the whisky! lol

..........[what's that you said, I had better make sure I drink it then to keep you away from me! ] lol

Mistletoe is one of those silly customs that I never got... I've often been tempted to walk around at Christmas with a piece of it dangling between my buttocks... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Am I still too early? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/anyone.gif)

Well, yes. 'Tis a bit early. We've got to get half term out of the way, then Bonfire Night (and November for writing cards - good resolution that I've failed to keep for most of my married life).

Personally I favour putting up the tree etc on the Sunday before Christmas - that's plenty of time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif)

It's way too early for Mistletoe. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Now put it down and leave here until December.
Step away from the mistltoe or Liddy, Lavvy, Norma and I will haunt you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/eek.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/muahaha.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/muahaha.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/muahaha.gif)

Well, yes, agreed. But the snoggee should have at least (mostly) their own teeth or it's a no -no as far as I'm concerned.

But he can take his cardigan off if he likes.

Fair enough.
I have a lot of respect for a girl with (some) standards.

Does anyone remember this nursery rhyme?

"There was a little girl
And she had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
And when she was good
She was very, very good,
But when she was bad
She was horrid even better.

I still can't make up my mind whether Confutatis meant what he said, or if he was implying that I'm anyone's as long as they have their own teeth. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
