Hi everybody!

I'm preparing for grade 8 violin and I chose Willem Ten Have's Allegro Brillant. I would like to know anything about him (especially when he lived, or if he is still alive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ) He's probably Dutch...

Thanx for any info

He is Dutch. I accompanied a violinist playing this in a concert recently. A member of the audience confirmed his nationality.

You now know as much as I do. Sorry I cannot help more.

You could try emailing at info@donemus.nl where they say that they have musical biographies. He wasn't on their usual list, but on the website it said you could email for other information not listed.
It said the Allegro Brilliante was 1898.
