Two days to go to the new exam session, if you live in the UK. Good luck if you're taking an exam this session :P .
Don't forget to let us know how it went! |

Maybe exams just aren't for you - they don't suit everyone. Have you had your exam dates yet? |

Just believe in yourself and you'll be fine, before I started having private tuiton (sp?) it was like it was drummed into my head that I shouldn't believe in myself and I always just scraped a pass, now I believe in myself I'm getting merits and distinctions. You're teacher must believe you can do it, so you can and go for it! :D I've also got my piano exam this term, I really wish my exam was tomorrow to be honest, I feel completely prepared and I don't want to go stale before my exam. I'm doing my pieces from memory!! :D |

Yes.. about the "stale before an exam". The waiting is the worst part. Sometimes you can loose what you had if you continually play the peices over and over. Any ideas for "saving yourself" until the exam date??

Natalie, you want your piano exam on the same day? that would be my idea of ######! two exams in the same session are bad enough- but 2 in the same day! good luck! As far as I know all the northern ireland exams are over by the end of june, though the diplomas stretch into the first week of july (mine's on the 28th june- i got the official letter the other day- scary!) :D |

But if you have to travel to a centre surely you would want them on the same day because of time and expense

well yes that's what my teacher thought-it would be easier to just go there once and get them all over with rather than having to go again a few days later! |

Yes, I suppose you're right. i never thought about the centre being far away- my centre is about a 10 minute drive away- the building where I have my lessons! I didn't swear the last time by the way- I said h_e_l_l, well, obviously the moderator thinks that's swearing! Good luck natalie!
