Starting to look into my FRSM programme.... have NO idea what I should play.I want to play something that I can handle technically (not much time to practice with 2 babies around) But not in a hurry to take the exam....

Anyone out there doing their FRSM piano performance can share what programme they are doing?

Still doing my licentiate but have looked ahead to this, however I would say everything is going to be quite technical at this level and a lot more besides so may be time to get a childminder (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I have 2 children and have not been able to dedicate enough time to my licentiate to do it justice yet which is why i've still not entered despite playing the pieces for almost 2 years now!! When/if I take it I would like to play a Beethoven sonata (Appassionata ideally), I love the Bartok sonata and if I could get away with it probably a major work by Chopin like a Scherzo or Ballade no. 2 (done no.s 1 and 3 already for exams). Good luck with it and keep us posted! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I too would like to play the Appassionata....but the others, I have no idea yet. I do love Chopin..... would love to play something by Chopin as well..... guess we are along the same direction. With two kids, it's definitely hard, and need severe discipline for myself.

Will post again when I confirm my programme.
