for my A level recital next year i have to perform 10miutes of music, then we have a viva voce session with the visiting examiner for about 3/4 mins. will the questions asked be similar to those asked in diplomas?!

i wouldnt have thought they'd be as in-depth or requiring as much knowledge as the diplomas. If the performance standard for A level is grade 7/8 then the questions probably wont be as hard as in the diploma, which is a professional qualification way above grade 8. hope that helped :) and good luck when the time comes!

Given that the diploma is supposed to be of the standard expected of a student having completed the first year of study at music college I'd imagine that the A-level questions would be easier than this; since A-level would be taken before music college.
