Sorry I'm not around much on here at the moment folks - I haven't left you, it's just that usually when I'm on, safari crashes sooner or later (sometimes after only 30 seconds!!!) which removes any pages at all I've opened in safari - which is frustrating and annoying as you can imagine....!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) I've sent a PM and Email on here and tried sending a bug report to apple but so far I don't think it's been sorted. So I can't use the forums often as if I'm still browsing other websites it's annoying to have to open them all up again after safari has crashed after being on here!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) But I'm chancing it now just to say I'm still around!!! (When I've got no other pages I'm worried about losing, that is!!!!) Try installing Firefox - I've found it to be much better than safari.

Thanks I'll maybe try that - I tried activating Firewall but it didn't do anything! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Is Firefox OK on apple mac computers? I'll get hubby to help me when he gets home from Japan (lucky thing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) I've bookmarked the link so I can find it again... thanks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Better get off here again before it crashes!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Hi again folks! Apologies once more for resurrecting an old thread but I have now installed Firefox and am waiting with bated breath to see if I have any more technical glitches......so far so good, no crashes just yet, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! If nothing goes wrong, you may be seeing more of me on here again...(poor yous!) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Hi CD! I know of people who've used Firefox satisfactorily on Apple Mac, so should be worth a try. Hope it works for you.

So far so good - I've been on and off the forums now a few times since we installed Firefox at lunchtime and it hasn't crashed yet, so I'm hoping that it's all now sorted out! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Nice to be back again without everything disappearing and crashing every few minutes (or 30 seconds on some occasions!!!) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) )
