AHA... and so to

Mornington Crescent

For:

Dots
15 minute walk to the North West of Mornington Crescent tube (1.69 miles)

Just a couple of minutes from Mornington Crescent tube station this harmonic haven is a convenient stop-off when faced with any dissonant difficulties.

The staff are an affable bunch of music enthusiasts who know their stuff. The smell of brewing coffee greets the visitor - everyone seems to be welcome to a mug to perk them up before rummaging through reams of sheet music, or testing that umpteenth flute.

They sell just about everything a musician might desire: instruments (new and second hand), sheet music, books, rosin, strings, accessories and more besides. If you've damaged your instrument, they can repair it; if you don't have one, they can rent; if you can't play it, they can hook you up with a tutor.

Dots provides one of the most comprehensive music services (with a smile) in London.

Maybe later...I really must do some work...*clears throat* Ahem!

I think the new rules are very effective and a fitting addition to the ABRSM board. Might even be able to persuade CMORRIS to move it out of the games forum to the Generla music forum (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

OK.

Using your musical rules Deborah, let's start at White City. Nearest stop for the BBC TV centre, where many a music show/show with musical acts in has been filmed over the years!

As I'm back to work today, with the joy of travelling from zone 6 (north east) straight through the middle to to zone 6 (west), I can only say: Ealing Broadway

OK, so Maizie's Ealing Broadway choice is suitable for Ealing Strings.

My choice? Round the corner from the Early Music Shop:

Tottenham Court Road

Oh, London Overground. Naughty (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

In that case, we'll go for Mudchute. Which is on the DLR. And I don't care (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Are we allowed DLR, or is that only if we're playing Gulbenkian Rules?

I see Barry has decided that we are. BAH. I wanted Mudchute *stamps foot*.

OK - time to play dirty.

Arsenal. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I want to use the DLR, 'cos I want to sit in the front and make train noises (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yay.gif)
