Hi all. I'm upgrading from a vile student instrument, and was looking at the Raggetti RV7 violin. I know these are made in China, but I've heard that there are decent instruments coming out of China now. I've tried out a lot of violins and am happy with the sound, action, etc but am hopeless at making decisions! So I was wondering if anyone has any reason why I should/ should not go for it?

So I was wondering if anyone has any reason why I should/ should not go for it? over here in singapore they sell a chinese factory made instrument by the brand of EUROSTRINGS which i find quite reliable. models run from $100-500 (singapore dollars, that is) and the sound from the $300 range ones are really good for the price |
