So you're trying to play harpsichord there too? I didn't know you had an interest in that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). Have you ever played one?

Well done IL. Watch out Birmingham. I shall send my friendly organ teacher to beat you into shape, since he is a visiting tutor at BC (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Don't forget the getting there is the easy part.. it's all that work you put in whilst you study which is the hard bit!!...

Oh yes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) It got me into Birmingham and Cardiff so why not? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I actually played the harpsichord more than I did recorder at my Trinity audition (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) doing the Solfeggio by CPE Bach horrendously, then my accompanist walked in...ooops.

MrB...It'll be HARPSICHORD as my second study with any luck, not organ.

Yes love, I understood that, but it doesn't stop me sending my man over to check you're doing your work, does it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Well done Loony. Kristian, my student got in to RWCMD also and will probably go there. He needs a C in music at A level.

Well done! You can relax once and for all. They're prolonging the pain for me I'm afraid to say - not even heard from RCM yet!

Welldone Chris. It's a shame you didn't get into RCM after all the trouble you took getting there! Though at least you can relax now.

I haven't heard from RCM yet either but I'm not sure I want to go to London now I've received an offer from RNCM. I'm pretty sure I didn't get into RAM either, even though I played perfectly. No reply from Guildhall yet either but I don't really want to go there.

It should do MrB, not being his instrument and what not (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) besides...how are you gonna explain to him how you know some random scouse recorder player? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Well done to your student Petra (even though I never did meet him!), no doubt he'll meet the recorder player it turns out I know at RWCMD (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) the panel were quite shocked when I told them!

It sounds like you'll have a conditional Kate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) fingers crossed either way. If they take THAT long for a reply, you MUST have a place...I mean I got rejected in like 24 hours or so...never mind (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The trouble I went through Hannah? not much really (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) it was just a case of actually trying to be comfortable while sleeping at Paddington station, and as I said it did give me a good chance to go sightseeing the Monopoly board sights (which I got pictures of most places! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) )

As far as RCM and Guildhall are concerned, my RCM panel were really stuck up, which hardly gave me a good impression (and they made me look like an idiot...damn French person) and I've heard horrible stories about the Guildhall auditions, mostly from RNCM people. Go for RNCM! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) it's probably THE place to go for piano IMHO

I can dream... I want to know whether I would have got a place in the end, I don't think I could see myself in London. I still like RNCM the best - after another 4 years I hope I don't say different! Staying calm for tuesday......
what turned you off RNCM Chris? do they not do recorder?
Hannah... you played perfectly, who's to say they won't want you? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
