I'm going away for the last weekend in July with 5 string players and an oboist to play with a local choir. I'm staying in a hostel for 3 nights at about £20 a night.
How much money would you suggest I take?
I'm staying from Friday for 3 nights, coming home on the Monday.
As I haven't been away before any tips of things to remember or what happens with currency changing would be much appreciated (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks
Joy

Hi Joy,

It sounds interesting. Never been to Germay, but have been to other European places. It depends a lot on your schedule. How much playing/free time?? I usually take some cash and use a credit card for most things. Hope you have a good time.

Not much free time, mostly playing. Just wondering on average how much would be needed for food and essentials like that!

Thanks hillyb.

Are you being provided with any meals at your hotel?

I went to Germany 2 years ago on tour. It was good.

I've also posted threads about what to take on tour - so if you search you should find them. Enjoy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
