Good afternoon (presuming that you live in the same hemisphere as me) one and all,
I have recently taken on a couple of students for guitar lessons. I have played (rock) guitar for many years and have only tinkered with classical. Could any-one please recommend a tuition book which would be suitable for the ABRMS guitar syllabus? |

Is this a new exam board? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (sorry - couldn't resist!) |

'Enjoy playing the Guitar' by Debbie Cracknell or The Guitarist's Way. Both easily obtainable.
Take a look at The Trinity College Syllabus. They have the exam pieces in one book for each grade and the scales aren't so demanding. Although I generally use ABRSM for woodwind I much prefer Trinity College for Guitar. |
