I went to see an 'interesting' rendition of D + A on Friday night - complete with people in fat suits and riding bouncy hoppers. Whatever next? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/eek.gif) (Don't get me wrong - I'm fine with 'concept' productions, but when it starts interfering with the music - in this case, people singing in peculiar screechy voices, I decompensate rapidly) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ill.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Did Dido sing her lament whilst riding around on a space hopper?
I saw a fantastic production of Acis and Galatea a few years ago with knitted sheep mittens and a punk monster who exploded from the audience to sing his first aria. |
